As the only profession protected by the United States Constitution, the media have awesome responsibility. I believe that the adherence to that responsibility has diminished. From convicting people before trials, to fallacious headlines that stir violence, to forged documents about the president, our credibility has wavered. Numerous polls suggest that the American people trust us less.

I am not only a media personality, I am also a harsh critic and student of this profession. Through my own experiences, observations, and studies, I have learned to conduct myself in such a way that my credibility as a journalist is never in question.

The media have an obligation to provide the most accurate, reliable and objective information possible. It is imperative that we maintain our high standards of excellence. I am committed to doing my part, one story at a time, to earn back the trust of the American people. And that is my goal.

Thank you for visiting my website. I appreciate your time and interest.

Outside of the newsroom I can be found in a one of a few places. The first is the gym. Being an athlete my entire life I cannot seem to stay away. The next is any body of water that has fish. For someone who has a hard time being still, I can sit or stand in one place all day with a line in the water. If I am in the house, I am either playing the guitar ( I write and record my own music) or reading a book, most likely non-fiction that deals with politics or history. Other than that I spend a lot of time with my wife whom I wed on October 15, 2005. I lead a pretty simple life. But, I love it.
